Chromatic is a Pure Data patch, cooperating with a color sensor module “Timbre” to determine a fundamental frequency from a color of paint, and to build a scale equally spaced as Chromatic Scale. By adaptation of “PwS (Painting with Sound)”, Chromatic corresponds with Xbox 360 Kinect Sensor to implement Multi-Touch technology a canvas to trigger a sound when a brush touches the canvas, and manipulating the sound by the movement of drawing. |
